Wagathon 9K is a nationwide campaign by Give as You Live * to celebrate National Dog Day on Thursday 26 August. You and your dog can be part of this special national event, and raise vital funds during National Dog Day.
We are proud to be part of this campaign which will take place during August Bank Holiday weekend, their mission is to raise £1 million for dog charities by asking dog owners to walk 9K with their dogs be it in 1 day or across 2 days. You can set up your walk with your four legged companion anywhere you fancy with your family, friends, colleagues or community groups, it could be your favourite walk or to explore a new walking route.
As part of this 9k challenge there will also be an online National Dog Day competition with the chance for Wagathon participants to win £100 for the charity of their choice and a hamper worth of goodies for their dogs, more details of the competition will be released in early August.

All you have to do to get started is set up a page with Give as You Live, promote the event through your network of friends and family and ask people to sponsor you.
