Tiny puppy
We look for sociable and confident, well-reared pups who like to play, but also love interacting with people.
Growing puppy
At eight weeks old, our pups join volunteer Puppy Socialisers who help them learn, grow, and explore the world with confidence.
Dogs in training
At around 14 – 18 months old, our dogs embark on the next stage of their journey to become life-changing dogs.
Working dog
Once our dogs have spent a few weeks in their new role, a member of our team takes a look at how they're settling in and whether they are ready to become a working dog.
Retirement
As our dogs naturally start to slow down as they get older, we keep an eye on how they are coping with their work before they officially retire at around 11 or 12 years old.
Placing our dogs
Colleagues who know our dogs best get together to decide what role would help our dogs' personalities and skills shine, and allow them to really make a difference.
