Help our dogs get safely from A to B.
Volunteer Drivers help keep our work moving. You'll transport dogs between our Banbury centre and regional sites, or even deliver a dog to meet their new partner.
Each journey plays an important part in helping our dogs get where they need to be, safely, comfortably and on time. You'll be fully briefed and supported before every trip.
You live within about 20 minutes of Banbury.
You have a full, clean UK driving licence and are over 25.
You’re confident on the road and can find destinations independently.
You’re comfortable around dogs and enjoy meeting new people.
You’re happy to lift light equipment when needed.
I am proud to be part of the team that transforms lives at Dogs for Good. As a volunteer driver I have the honour of transporting dogs at various stages of their training to a variety of places across the UK. From the puppies to the two year old dogs that are going to their forever home, each journey is different and I know each trip I am making is making a difference to someone who needs help. Dogs for Good provide excellent support always letting me know where I am going, who I am going to meet and lots of the details about the dogs I am transporting. I really look forward to getting the call from Dogs for Good as I know that I am going to spend another day with a delightful dog, helping to change someone’s life.
If you’re curious about volunteering and want to find out more, we’d love to hear from you.
