For Julie, a lifelong dog lover, taking on the London Marathon wasn’t just about the challenge. It was about giving back to a charity that changes lives through the powerful connection between people and dogs.

Inspired by the difference assistance dogs make every day, she trained for months through cold mornings and muddy countryside miles. Each step became a reminder of the impact her fundraising could have — helping more people gain confidence, freedom and independence with a dog by their side.

On race day, determination carried her across the finish line and her efforts helped raise vital funds to support more partnerships that make life possible.

I decided to run for Dogs for Good as I hadn’t realised what a wonderful support assistance dogs can be for those in need.

I have read, and heard first-hand, so many inspiring stories from those who have been helped by Dogs for Good since myself and Cameo Consultancy started working with them.
