A skydive for my 70th birthday
Dennis celebrated his milestone by jumping out of a plane for Dogs for Good.
Story
Dennis decided to mark his 70th birthday with something unforgettable – a skydive in support of Dogs for Good. He had previously done a parachute jump for his 40th, and this time persuaded his daughter Emma to join him. As he walked out to the plane, calm yet excited, he realised how quiet and vast the sky felt as he free-fell and took in the stunning view.
Dennis had only recently begun his connection with Dogs for Good after he and his wife socialised a puppy; they were deeply impressed by the charity’s friendly staff, incredible dogs and the friendships they made.
Together, Dennis and Emma raised £1,398 – far more than birthday presents would have brought.
We have both been very impressed with the work the charity does and the friendships we have made. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and of course the dogs are incredible.
