Standards

Dogs for Good is committed to the highest possible service standards in all of its work.

Dogs for Good have played an active role in advising and supporting the development of best practice, protocols, and guidance across a wide range of settings, including schools, healthcare environments, and other community spaces where dogs provide support.

Our expertise has helped partner organisations and governing bodies establish robust standards and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, enabling safe and effective programmes that benefit both people and dogs.

Our commitment to safety and care

The safety and wellbeing of our people and our dogs are at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to creating an environment where both can thrive, ensuring care, respect, and protection for everyone involved in our work.

Our position on social licence to operate and ethical responsibility
