HEALTH & WELFARE ASSISTANT
Full Time (35 Hours per Week)
Monday to Friday
Working a shift of 7.30am-3.30pm or 10am-6pm
Salary £18,928 per annum
Based at The Frances Hay Centre, Banbury

The Charity is seeking a full time Health & Welfare Assistant.  Duties for this role include the following:

  • To identify, manage and report health and welfare concerns within our stock
  • Maintain all dog related areas on site
  • Manage the daily requirements of all dogs attending site
  • Communicate on dog Health and Welfare matters to assist staff members and stakeholders
  • Keep up to date health and welfare records on the dogs progress

We are looking for a motivated, positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude who is happy to work on their own and as part of a team.

Accompanying dogs in the charity’s vehicles is part of the job, so a full driving licence is preferred, but where applicable, we will work with the chosen candidate to find alternative solutions where reasonable adjustments are required.
