Part Time (30 Hours per Week)
Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day
Working a shift of 7.30am – 1.30pm or 1.30pm – 7.30pm
Salary £10 per hour
Based at The Frances Hay Centre, Banbury

The Charity is seeking a part time Health & Welfare Assistant.  Duties for this role include the following:

  • Clean the kennels and runs
  • Monitor and review feeds according to dietary needs
  • Groom, bath and weigh the dogs as required
  • Carry out regular physical examinations of the dogs
  • Carry out environmental enrichment
  • Communicate on dog Health and Welfare matters to assist staff members and stakeholders
  • Keep up to date records on the dogs’ progress throughout their training period

Accompanying dogs in the charity’s vehicles is part of the job, so a full driving licence is preferred but where applicable, we will work with the chosen candidate to find alternative solutions where reasonable adjustments are required.
