Our physical disability family dog workshops enable adults to discover the incredible benefits that come from the bond that is formed with a pet dog either for themselves or a family member. They explore how a pet dog can bring positive connections as well as ways to strengthen the relationship. 

These family-focused workshops are designed for adults (aged 18 plus) with a physical disability and the parents or carers of a physically disabled child (aged 3 and over.) Whether you already have a pet dog, are welcoming a new puppy, or are considering getting a dog, our expert team will provide the knowledge, support, and confidence needed to help the whole family.

Online workshops

Our online workshops start with a short introductory session, with pre-recorded content to watch at a time to suit you between the following three workshops. Your instructor will then recap what you have learnt before answering questions and generating discussion. The workshops are around two hours long and take place on Teams.
